This new story is part of Arbor Tea’s Summer Reading Series.   It’s based on the real historical events surrounding the First Opium War between China and the United Kingdom.  We look into the complex lives of Captain Charles Elliot and High Commissioner Lin Zexu as they try to navigate a world in flux and control the forces that will change the fate of empires.
